About IsItWorthCalc
IsItWorthCalc builds free calculators for the money questions people actually ask out loud: is it worth refinancing my car, is leasing worth it, should I buy or keep renting.
Why it exists
Most financial calculators either bury the answer in a wall of charts or exist to capture your email and hand you to a salesperson. These don't. Every tool here gives a plain verdict, shows the numbers behind it, and explains what would change the answer. No signup, no email gate, no results held hostage.
How the math works
Every calculation runs in your browser using standard amortization formulas and the figures you type in. Nothing is fetched from a database of rates, and nothing you enter is transmitted or stored. Each page lists its assumptions openly — carrying costs, closing costs, loan terms — so you can judge whether they fit your situation and adjust.
What this is not
This site is not financial, tax, or legal advice, and no calculator here can see your full picture — your credit profile, your state's fees, your job stability, your other debts. Treat the results as a starting point that helps you ask better questions, then confirm details with your lender or a qualified advisor before you sign anything.
